  1. Man, sorry for the late add in. Oils are ok, but watch your ratios. Most chalk pastels contain sulfer which can inhibit.. if you were to use those, switch to an aceto paint system instead of platsil. Basically paint using a caulking ( sil-poxy would be recommended) use a few dictated airbrush that won’t ever be used for a platinum system like psycho paint ever again as the Silpoxy inhibits platsil cure.. the air brush will be infected. We have airbrush set ups for platinum.. and others just for Silpoxy
  2. RIP Big Rich. He was an absolute sweetheart and will be missed by many
  3. In case anyone is interested in epoxy and fiberglass mold making, we taught a course at the Stan Winston school on it. My lead mold maker, Mike Cooke did a great job explaining our process. It’s definitely a valuable class if you intend to start casting in silicone.. and if you wanna see my dumb face explain the casting process, you can check out part 3 of them. As always, the SWS offered a free 7 day trial. they are probably the best program around and I highly recommend them. It was an honor to be asked to teach hope this helps anyone interested https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/silicone-mask-making-part-1-epoxy-fiberglass-molding-a-sculpture https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/silicone-mask-making-part-2-finishing-the-epoxy-and-fiberglass-mold https://www.stanwinstonschool.com/tutorials/silicone-mask-making-part-3-casting-and-demolding
  4. On a repaint, seal in thinned down Silpoxy or Shinetsu ( longer cure ) thin with NOVOCS or Naphtha. important: use an airbrush designated for caulking type silicones and keep it separate from an airbrush that you’d use for a platinum based paint system such as Psycho paint. The Silpoxy will “infect” that air brush and potentially cause inhibition issues for future attempts at using a platsil system
  5. Man, this was a lot of fun to revisit. looking back I’m impressed how you just dove into the large scale molds! And yes.. stone molds of that size suck such a great build bro
  6. I sold it.. years later I would find out that it burned in a fire
  7. Very cool. Love the dual blade weapon
  8. Thank you! Admittedly it’s been a long time since I’ve worked on anything Predator related since we started Immortal Masks, but the itch is back for sure.. hoping to get back into it soon enough
  9. George

Man you are just one of the most amazing and talented people I've ever been blessed to know.  To me you were always the wiseman I would turn to when I needed it straight.

I'm so happy for all your success and your wonderful family.

Love ya man and thanks for always being there for me and the lair

  10. Oh man.. I love the profile on those gauntlets!
  11. I can’t believe you can even show your face here after posting those …. bastard.. talent from the get go!! but it has been a privilege to watch you progress as an artist.. Signed a devoted HurleyFX fan
  12. So this was the very last pull I ever made from the stunt mold. It’s probably eight years old. I was in a corrosion phase at the time, playing with liquidex texturizing gels and umber and sienna acrylics. I went for this idea of a lost predator helmet that was unearthed .. being that this was the last from the original lineage I ever made .. and the backstory I created for it, I think the Relic is a fitting name
