Custom Berserker/p2 hybrid

Hello Hunters!!!

I wanted to share my WIP of a statue for a client's collection.

Since nowdays is hard to find the right parts, specially for a Mr. Black (no skins, chest or shoulder armor) i was pointed on the direction of Tony Ackerman and scored some armor from him. 

I am using p2 skins as a base, p1 head. 

I am using as inspiration not the Berserker suit how it was in the movie, but how it is now. At the KNB studio. If it still there... thought i saw it getting auctioned, anyways lol

How'd you lay it out and apply it?

Thanks, a lot of patience. About 15 hrs of laying down spots and colors. All spots are freehanded as well.

Working on gautlets now. Aiming to finish this build by the 20th. I have something prepared, to take this build up a notch. If it works, of course lol.

Especially the paintjob on the head is fantastic!

Thank you guys. It was a challenge to mount the skins onto the mannequin, but at the end was a fun build.

I definitely like it better with the P2 legs than the Berserker's space boots.

 

Here is a bit of the spotting process and a photo the new owner sent me next to a P1 (did not build that one)

Looks great. What do you use to make the paint stick to the suit?
Prosaide?

Do you use Permawet?

Curious about the process and what hardware you are using these days?

My base layers are always rubber inks then i use acrylic inks (mostly bloodline/lifeline. FW/Liquitex)

Sealed with Vgloss rubber cement sealer and permawet.
