Hi Mauricioch, I have a mold of a faceless predator 1 head. Story given to me was that the mold was made at Stan Winston's shop back in the day. There is a thread on the forum "project jungle hunter" which shows pictures of the head itself. Where did you see the mold for sale? Was it online or in person?

Not sure... It looks like an early version of the one we have seen with full dreds etc.

Rob, you were 100% right. Good work.
I asked Jordu Schell who worked on the film if it was gold plated. He stated the following:
"As I recall, everything was plated in a copper material, and then aged to look worn and used. What you see in the photo is the helmet prior to this aging process, no doubt. It looks very gold in the photo, but was much more of a coppery look in person."- 2

I know who to ask... Will report back.

Good question. That makes me want to gold plate a bio now...

Iconic.
Legendary moment in film.

Nah. Not that I've seen. Just think it was a specific gag for the head scene.

It's almost like his hands have sensory glands on the palm.

Damn. Is this right after Larry finish painting it?

Somewhere somebody is 3D printing this right now.

Wow. Crazy what they setup for filming. And to think the majority of what they film never ends up in the movie. Wild.

Nice side angle on that shield. Can see parts of where he holds it.
Wonder what that piece is he is hanging on to? -
"I love you buddy Thanks for chopping off one leg and stomping the other like a KFC chicken drumstick."

Was this one drawn from your suit? Or?
-
Something special about this one. The stance. Black and white. The captured motion. I saved this in my phone for inspiration.

Such a cool helmet sculpture. Bruce Spaulding Fuller was the artist ?

Can't see the eye of the demon... till him come calling.

Not many of those around. Was an AVP concept? Didn't they use it in the temple alien overrun scene ?
-
Kind of looks like steve wang in the back?
-
Someone has it. Now way is it thrown away.
We need to make it our mission to find it. Who was the original sculptor? Maybe we can reach out and start following leads?
When was the last time any of us saw it?

Wanted to drop this link here. This paint is sitting on my workbench waiting for a bio to try it on.
In a nutshell they make paint that reacts and creates a patina look. Base coat, paint then pray it with an activator to get either a copper patina, rust or bronze look.
Cool stuff, reasoably priced. https://www.modernmasters.com/pages/brand-results?Finishes=48B86C52-14CE-4FD4-A6EA-D0315AF298AD
