Those pics are just too awesome! Thanks for posting them! Hey look, there's that half-leg puppet piece! Check out the KPH suit and the stunt suit - that kinda throws your perception of what's really 1:1 scale off. Haha. Man, I've always wanted to see what the P2's back pattern looked like. Too cool!

I really get a kick out of not only what's in the foreground, but what you can make out in the background. Kinda like a nerd, fan-boy where's Waldo.

Casey, I think that the gauntlets, disc, and net launcher were all brass plated. From looking at the images I can tell that it's not paint (my opinion anyway). Krylon/Rustoleum metallics look no where near that pure as far as duplicating gold/copper/brass. Unless it's some custom material they came up with in-studio, or some super secret product not made readily available to the public. I've killed many a brain cell pondering that question.

On a sidenote, that picture of the hanging bodies really makes me hungry for steak.

Larry you have made mine and alot of other peoples Christmas so much better with your gift of giving.

Man Larry these shots are great. Where the hell would we get to see these otherwise? I wish some kind of making of Predator 1 and 2 book could be released, I've had to buy all sorts of foreign magazines to get just a handfull of photos! I noticed that Steve Wang's myspace pics of the Predator 1 suit were later used in The Winston Effect so there's very little around.

Not as biga fan of P2 as i am P1 but fan or not , you cannot fail to be impressed by this stuff.

I like the medkit cover pic...is it a screen used piece?

I believe so, but it didn't come with any history. From what I've seen the shoulder piece was sculpted as part of the main suit, mine may have been to replace a damaged section or cut from a damaged/flawed suit but this is just speculation. The medkit cover is seen seperate from the suit when the kit is being used in the movie, here is a scan from Slaughterhouse magazine featuring Steve patino who did the moulding of the suits. The whole medkit part of the backpack is a seperate piece:
