I did some testing tonight along with the guy who owns the software and I believe we have identified why the lag is happening. You will notice that the lag only starts once people have been chatting forawhile... I think what happens is that as the chat cache (the saved chat you see if you scroll up in the chat window) starts to bog down the Flash rendering done by the plugin. The bigger the cache, the longer it takes to render and hence that lag and pausing. So, the developer is going to look into what causes this, but in the meantime you can fix it my clicking on the clear cache button, which is the icon in chat of a red x over top of a piece of paper. Click that and it will clear the cache and you will notice the lag vanishes. So please use that until the company fixes it from their end.
