I started painting my Narin Bad Blood kit on monday. I decided to go with a berserker inspired paint job. It is turing out pretty cool, but painting all the little spots is taking forever LOL! I will update as it comes along.

Will you change it in some way physically? Since Mr.Black has wider eyes, and stuff.

He was inspired by the paint app on the Berzerker Predator, not changing the kit into the Berzerker.

Any news on the progress with this kit? I am really interested in seeing the finished product. The paint app is going to be killer.

Ok, here is an update! It really takes a long time to paint all the little details. It is still not done, but it is getting close.

That head on the spear is PERFECT! I would probably sacrifice a small child to have been able to see really specific in-progress shots for this paint-up so far, because some of the finishes are fantastic. Love the guy on the base, too. JEALOUS!

Thanks for the compliments guys! This is only my second predator kit, so it has been a learning process. It is almost done though. I still need to paint all the dreadlocks and glue them on. Here are soem pics for now.

oh yeah to answer some questions. The quills are made from tips of toothpicks and some are made from sculpty bend n bend. The skulls were first painted an off white and then lightly brushed with wood stain to age them. I used mostly house of kolor automotive paint to airbrush and then used citadel(warhammer) paint to brush in the details.

That is a fantastic paint job!! The model looks alive. I am also new to the Predator scene, was formally building Universal Movie Monster kits and decided to try my hand at the most fearsome hunter of all. I had one question though, if it is not a trade secret, could you please tell me how you were able to achieve the Predator Blood effect?

no secrets here, just green paint and some two part epoxy to build depth and shine.
