I found a three part video of a lecture by Steve Wang posted December 2009. The video tutorials show body casting, suit sculpture and molding through to painting and other techniques. Most of us don't have an industrial kiln at home but it's interesting to see how the professionals do it.

Wow!!! Thanks so much for sharing man. Pure awesomeness. I would've thought there would've been more questions after his presentation. Being put in a position where you could pick his brain.... I can think of a million questions to ask.

Great, I thought others would appreciate them.
Rob, I was thinking the same thing about the lack of questions at the end. I always hope for old photos and footage but I guess there isn't always the time or thought to record, I wish there was something on the suits for Guyver 1 & 2.

I never knew he did those suits for the two live-action Guyver films. I thought those films were really cool to watch one night on Sci-Fi channel I was hoping for some Predator behind-the-scenes type of stuff, but how he did any suit is really good information to have from him none the less.

Ok, back the mother f'n truck up. Your sitting in the premiere fx school, learning the tricks from the pros, in front of you is one of the masters of his craft speaking on some of his expieriences and work...and out of that whole class..... I know how you feel Bovine I'm going to ask question after question when I go to meet Alec Gillis and Tom Woodruff Jr. in April and I will bring some kind of recording device and take lots of notes. The fact that they did Goro for Mortal Kombat, AVP, and AVP-R which are both my favorite franchises I will be making sure I don't miss anything they have to offer as far as knowledge.

Taken from the 3rd part of the video from youtube.
"There was a long question and answer period upstairs after the seminar, in the school's lab (with drink and food!), where students, graduates and guests could talk one on one with Steve. Many good questions were asked and answered there. Steve also took questions during the seminar as well, and since it was 3 hours plus, we had to make some hard choices on what to show for the videos. If you look in the Teaser video, you can see some scenes of the after mixer party."
